Tonk

Tonk Riyasat is situated on the banks of the Jaipur Kota National Highway, in the south of the famous river Banas, which flows in the west and east direction, 95 km to the south of Jaipur. There are numerous spectacular structures and exquisitely decorated Havelis in the town. The ‘Sunehri Kothi’, which stands out for its stunningly exquisitely designed interiors, is unquestionably Tonk's focal point of architectural excellence. It was built by Nawab Mohammad Ibrahim Ali Khan (1867-1930), for poetry recitals, dance and music.
